For the last several years, my wife, Julie, and I have offered photography adventures through various parts of Scotland. This last August/September, we ventured to Scotland's far north, including Orkney and the rugged North Coast. At the edge of that coast, there is an amazing sea cave at the bottom of a limestone cliff. The area had just experienced heavy rainfall, which paid off beautifully photographically. In addition to the size and spectacle of the cave itself, the rain runoff poured into cavities in the cliff, which created a huge waterfall inside the heart of the cave. When I am teaching, I tend to travel pretty light with my own photo gear, especially when there's a steep path down a cliff. iPhone 14 Pro Max, processed in Lightroom Classic 30.0.2 and Photoshop 25.2
