Not too long ago, I came across this photo I had made of Ansel that I had honestly completely forgotten about. At home, if Ansel wasn't in the darkroom or doing something else photographic, he was on the phone chatting about the environment or photography or at his typewriter doing the same thing. One day, I decided I just had to capture a quintessential Ansel Adams moment. It's a Kodachrome transparency, but I like it much better in black-and-white.

Mounted and over-matted on 4-ply or 8-ply museum board using the most current industry standards for archival permanence.
